AOL
- A member of our staff served as technical lead during the design, development and
implementation of a very large database project that manages the email meta-data
for AOL.
- Several members of our staff worked as senior designers and developers on a Customer
Activity system for AOL. This system handled 80 million inserts and updates per
day and hundreds of millions of queries daily.
- Developed components of AOL’s customer billing system on UNIX, Stratus and Tandem
platforms. Performed an analysis of the use of member data by every department and
business unit of AOL in order to consider future initiatives and design a new schema
for the member database.

iDox Solutions
- Participated heavily in the production of a Functional Systems Design for a workflow-based system to
replace the existing collection of silos, concentrating on productivity improvements, higher quality
results, and management control and reporting.
- Designed and developed a case management load and resource modeling tool for a Government Agency.
It was based upon Microsoft Office tools, enhanced with VB Script.
- Participated as the architect and team lead for the analysis, design and prototyping of an educational
grants system. The system used SharePoint, Forms Server, InfoPath, and advanced workflow and document
management design.
- Supported the implementation of two Government programs. As a technical resource in the development of a
Case Management system, which included resolution of complex issues.
- Provided base classes and web controls for a document storage and retrieval system.

Tandem Computers/Compaq/HP
- Worked for Tandem Computers east coast development group on their DSMS and DSNM products. These products ran on
their NonStop system. Tandem was purchased by Compaq computers, which was later purchased by HP.
- Upgraded FAA software to work on current release of operating system.

US Patent and Trademark
- DND has been involved with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office since 2000, initially as a contractor to Lockheed
and currently as a teaming partner with Raytheon. This has involved a wide range of tasks and technologies.

DoxSys
- Designed and developed two major nationwide workflow and imaging systems using Visual Basic, C++,
and Powerbuilder. The most recent project was a Web- and Win32-based system to support promotion boards
for the Division of Commissioned Personnel for the U.S. Public Health Service.
- Provided workflow application support at both the design and implementation levels.
- Converted an entire set of ViewStar applications from CBPI under 4.3.2 to EBPI under
5.0 Beta.
- Designed a nationwide workflow system supporting 1600 client stations with both
local and Web-based image access.

Federal Data
- DND staff members worked for several years with Federal Data personnel developing world-wide networked Naval Supply applications for
the Navy's SPLICE contract.

Cable and Wireless
- Designed and developed a File Server using Tandem C. This server accessed sequential, relative
and ISAM files. The server was implemented using Remote Server Call Pathway support. The interface
was Windows 3.1 DDE.

FAA
- Provided technical support, software design and coding for the FAA Frequency Management System.
This system was an integration of Tandem and personal computer systems.

MCI
- System Interface Testing of a multi-platform implementation of a large scale Audio Response System and
its integration into the telephone network of MCI. This included design and implementation of interface,
performance and regression tests, system installation, production support, training, and DMS-250 switch
table maintenance.

Peoples Drug
- Designed and implamented program modules for a credit card authorization system written in C, PL/1, and Cobol,
hosted on a Stratus computer system. Development of an RJE based data submission system for communicating
with credit card vendors.

Sallie Mae
- Designed and implemented SNA interface from Tandem CLX to PC using SNAX/APC and XCOM. Tasks included creating
formal design documentation, SNAX/APC Pathway configuration, coding Pathway Requester and Servers and creation and
modification of PC batch files. The application supported simple script language capability to support variable
logic flow without code changes.

Sprint International
- Member of development team for Sprint International Mail Operations group. Tasks included detailed design and
Tandem C development. This project used formal LCM process to manage development via telecommuting.
- Designed and developed a state machine based email address parser.
