With your back to Waterford Elementary School, there is a road
to the right running
down a long hill.
It should be labeled route 698.
Follow this road down the hill where it will intersect with 3
other roads in the
center of Waterford.
Bear right here and the road continues descending through town.

Market, turn left here on Factory Street. Market is 50 yards on
right. Open 10AM)
You will pass an old mill on the left, pass route 662 on the right
and go
over Catoctin Creek. Distance is maybe 0.5 mile total.
Just past the creek is a water treatment plant on the right. Turn
right on route 681,
Milltown Road just past the Water treatment plant on the right.
A short gravel driveway
on the right is the starting area.
Turn right on route 681, Milltown Road, just past the water treatment
plant. You're
basically out of Waterford now.
About 20 yards up the road on the right is a blind driveway blocked
by a gate (part of the
water treatment plant). The start is adjacent to this driveway.
A slight descent before you start climbing.

Mile 15.3 LANDMARK Hannah Road on left coming from a housing development

Finish is on a 200 yard stretch of road at mile 16.0, just after
a left bend in the road.
There is good visibility in both directions, finish is adjacent
to a short gated gravel
driveway on the right.
It is another 0.5 mile to the school which will be on the right.
